Holland America Line
Holland America Line’s fleet of 11 premium, perfectly sized ships offers more than 500 sailings each year, visiting all seven continents and combining iconic destinations with less-travelled ports across Alaska, the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, South America, the Panama Canal, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Amazon, Antarctica and extended Grand Voyages.
From seven-night holidays to extended Legendary Voyages and Grand World Voyages of more than 100 days, Holland America Line offers destination-rich itineraries designed for guests who value comfort, culture and time to explore. The fleet includes three Pinnacle Class ships — Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam and Koningsdam — alongside smaller ships that offer a more intimate atmosphere and access to ports beyond the reach of larger vessels.
On board, guests will find classic maritime style with contemporary touches: elegant lounges, curated art, spacious public areas, regionally inspired dining and thoughtful guest-focused enhancements. Holland America Evolution, the line’s multiyear fleet refresh announced in 2026, is bringing popular Pinnacle Class features and updated spaces to more ships across the fleet.
Destination immersion remains central to the Holland America experience. Shore excursions include expert-led Nat Geo Tours, The HISTORY Channel™ experiences, accessible travel options, private tours, behind-the-scenes visits and local culinary experiences designed to connect guests more deeply with the places they visit. A multiyear partnership with The HISTORY Channel™ is also bringing historically focused itineraries and immersive shore excursions to sailings through 2027.
Dining is a major part of the journey. Holland America Line’s Global Fresh Fish Program brings more than 80 varieties of fresh fish from port to plate in 48 hours or less. Recent culinary enhancements include international seafood sustainability certifications and the expansion of Morimoto By Sea sushi bars across selected ships.
Entertainment ranges from live music and high-energy productions to contemporary stage shows. Guests can enjoy performances including Fosse & Verdon: The Duet That Changed Broadway
, along with live music at Billboard Onboard and Rolling Stone Lounge, plus B.B. King’s Blues Club on Pinnacle Class ships. Venues vary by ship.
Having celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2023, Holland America Line continues to build on its Dutch seafaring heritage while focusing on modern premium cruising: spacious ships, carefully crafted itineraries, attentive service, culinary excellence and experiences designed to be savoured rather than rushed.
